Alessi - Nut / shellfish cracker - Colombina / Doriana e Massimiliano Fuksas

C$165.00
Designed for seafood lovers, this cracker will be as useful for shellfish as for nuts.

About the product :

The shellfish cracker is developed by Doriana and Massimiliano Fuksas with the advice of Alberto Gozzi, gastronomic expert, who offers a whole range of instruments perfect for serving and tasting fish dishes. The shellfish tong is an essential tool for preparing shellfish at the table; it should not be confused with a lobster claw. Very robust, with long and narrow branches, it allows to break the claws and the hardest parts of the shell of crustaceans, leaving their chair intact.

The Colombina collection tries to introduce an incisive and contemporary interpretation to the classic rituals of the table. The handles of each element have a particular texture inspired by the scales of fish: an evocative design that makes the function of these cutlery clearly explicit.
