A word about this kettle:
The 9093 kettle is characterized by a whistle in the shape of a little bird, which will warn you that the water is hot with a bird song that will inevitably make you smile. Designed by Michael Graves, combining influences from Art Deco to Pop Art through contemporary cartoon, it has become one of the icons of contemporary design.

Michael Graves
The American architect and designer was a professor at renowned Princeton University for over 40 years. A figure of postmodernism, playing with shapes and sizes, he has imposed his style throughout the world, from New York to New Orleans or The Hague, but also numerous hotels for Disney. He has enjoyed a long collaboration with Alessi, creating modern and colorful objects that are decades later as innovative as they were at their beginnings. He died in 2015.
