Lesley Chesterman - Spring 2022 - June 22

Share a moment with the author and food writer as she reveals her secrets for making good food. Her book, Chez Lesley, released in October 2020, is offered at the start of evening.

Lesley Chesterman attended the Institut de Tourisme et d’Hôtellerie du Québec, before working as a professional pastry chef and cooking teacher in Montreal and France.

In 1998, she began her career as a food writer, primarily at the Montreal Gazette as a food columnist and restaurant critic for over 20 years. Her work has also appeared in Gourmet Magazine, The Art of Eating, Saveur, Nuvo, Food Arts, The Globe and Mail, The National Post, Fool Magazine, the New York Post and Eater.com, as well as the French daily, Le Devoir. Lesley has also participated on radio shows for both Radio-Canada and on CHOM FM. In 2018, she also contributed and hosted the production of the documentary, “100 Ans à Table” focused on the history of Quebec cuisine televised on Télé-Quebec, and in 2018 and 2019 she appeared as a guest chef on the Food Network’s Iron Chef Canada. She has also written several books, including her latest, Chez Lesley published in October 2020 by Les Éditions Cardinal.

This experience can be given in French or in English. The translation of some terms and greedy steps of the experience can be translated if needed.

  • From 6:30 pm to 9:30pm
  • Meals in 3 to 5 courses depending on the theme
