Daren Bergeron - Les Arrivages du Marché - May 10

Daren Bergeron began his culinary training in France at the Hostellerie des Clos in Chablis (1 Michelin star) with chef Gilles Vigneau before returning to Quebec to join ITHQ’s progressive cooking program. He continued his training in France with internships in various restaurants (1, 2, 3 Michelin stars) with Bernard Loiseau, Michel and Jean-Michel Morin, and Marc Meneau.

Back home, he completed his studies with experiences in hotels, bistros and various culinary institutions, including in Vancouver at La Lumière. Under his direction, the restaurant obtained honorable mentions at Relais Gourmand

and Traditions & Quality. He also opened the famous restaurant Le Feenie’s. This adventure allowed him to work with Thomas Keller, Charlie Trotter, Gordon Ramsay and Jamie Oliver. Back in Montréal in 2005, he became the executive chef of the new restaurant Decca 77 for six years, as well as the restaurant Newtown. Known across Canada for his innovative approach to cooking, Daren Bergeron has been working as a private chef for 10 years.

This experience is given in French. The translation of some terms and greedy steps of the experience can be translated if needed.
