Alessi - Set of 2 Mocha cups and saucer - Bavero

This set is an excellent example of Achille Castiglioni's working methods in that you can clearly see what Castiglioni himself describes as "the main element of the design", i.e. the central idea of the project, what a good designer must look for, and understand at the beginning of each project: in this case, the central idea is as simple as it is original and courageous: folding the edges of the plates downwards
